Family of Eduardo "Eddie" Verchez Garcia opened his wake to the public this afternoon, June 21.

The veteran actor's body was cremated early this morning at around 1 a.m.

KAMI learned that family and fans started to flock his wake at the Heritage Park in Taguig City.

Photos from his wake were shared by Philippine Star courtesy of Russell Palma.

Trophies that Garcia received throughout his showbiz career were seen displayed along with his memorable photos.

As reported earlier by KAMI, Sharon Cuneta, a close friend of Eddie Garcia, took to social media to express her dismay and anger over the latter's sudden passing.
