The Youtuber/vlogger Keith Talens recently shared a video which was supposedly for his Father's Day surprise for his dad.
The video went viral because he was seen emotional at the end part of the video upon seeing his dad lifeless on the hospital bed as reported earlier by KAMI.
However, some netizens reacted negatively and said that Keith already knew about his father's death and that he only made a vlog out of it.
Some of them implied that he was using the incident to gain popularity and more views.
In a recent vlog, Keith addressed the intrigues thrown at him and explained some 'inconsistencies' the other netizens talked about.
He explained some of the events that were not captured in the vlog. They initially planned to go to the market to buy the things needed for the prank/surprise.
He was supposed to call his dad to tell him that a fan from a nearby place wishes to give him a gift.
Since Keith is living in Metro Manila, the gifts would just be handed to his dad and give them to him.

He said that he was still in denial after receiving a call from her stepmother who broke the bad news about his father's death.
He was hoping that he was being pranked by his brother, who was also a vlogger like him.
Still hoping that it was just a joke, they headed to their house. The truth finally sank in when he saw his stepmother crying, so they went to the hospital where his emotional reunion with his dad was captured in the video.
