A trending moment happened recently in an episode of “Wowowin” when a child contestant shouted “What’s up, madlang pipol” inside the program’s studio.
KAMI learned that aside from the hilarious incident, the epic reaction of the show’s host Willie Revillame immediately went viral on social media.
The Grade 1 student, who decided to join “Wowowin” to showcase his talent, was first asked about his favorite actors, to which he responded by mentioning names of Kapamilya celebrities.
He stated that Ronnie Alonte and Cardo Dalisay (Coco Martin) are his idols and he wants to be like them when he grows up.
Willie then told the child contestant to greet the two ABS-CBN actors on air but the kid just shouted “What’s up, madlang pipol,” which is a famous line in the noontime show “It’s Showtime.”
“Nakakatuwa ‘tong batang ‘to. Solid ka sa GMA!” the host jokingly replied.
Although the video was deleted already on social media, it can be seen in the episode that Willie tried to made fun of the awkward situation by throwing sarcastic and hilarious comments.
Moreover, it was evident on the host's face hat he enjoyed the moment since he was also seen laughing while the child contestant was answering his questions.
