Kapuso actress Katrina Halili unhesitatingly exposed to public the name of the artist that she prefers to play as the next “Darna.”
KAMI learned that the search is still on for the next actress who will portray the iconic superhero role, following the emotional withdrawal of Liza Soberano.
Many netizens have been continuously suggesting the names of Nadine Lustre, Pia Wurtzbach, Jessy Mendiola, and even Sanya Lopez to replace Liza.
However, the directors and producers of the much-awaited film have yet to disclose their final decision despite opening the role to public.
Recently, Katrina gave her honest opinion about the celebrity who suits well as “Darna.”
Instead of rooting for a fellow Kapuso artist, the former “Black Darna” agreed that Nadine is more appropriate to become a superhero in a film.

She admitted that the ABS-CBN star has a strong personality, which makes her the the best option for the role.
“Parang naririnig ko gusto ng mga tao si Nadine, and parang for me, okay din naman talaga kasi Pinay and sexy and strong din siya, di ba?” Katrina quipped.
"Strong din ang personality,” she added.
