Even local celebrities have shared their comments about the boat incident between the Filipino and Chinese fishing vessel.

KAMI learned that the artists took their grievances to social media.

On Twitter, actor Enchong Dee talked about how the other countries think little of the Philippines.

“Ang liit ng tingin satin ng ibang bansa, mas liliit pa yan pag hinayaan nating manahimik para sa mangingisda natin laban sa mga Bully,” Enchong said.

Actress Jasmine Curtis questioned the statement of Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi about the rammed fishing vessel.

“DAPLIS LANG?!?!?????? WOW,” she said.

Ogie Diaz also commented on the statement of Cusi.

“Dear Mr. Cusi, pahinga na po kayo. Ilaan nyo na lang po ang energy nyo sa mga apo nyo, mas kailangan nila ng lolo,” he said.

TV host Bianca Gonzalez wanted justice for the 22 lives of the Filipinos that were put in danger due to the incident.

“The more details that come out from the Pinoy fishermen and China boat incident, mas lalo nakakadurog ng puso,” she said.

Meanwhile, comedienne Ethel Booba posted a cryptic message on Twitter.

Actress Agot Isidro compared the remark of President Duterte to his previous statement about the poor Filipinos.

Singer Kiana Valenciano said that she was not surprised on the statement of President Duterte.

“Not even a little surprised,” she said.

In a previous report by KAMI, President Duterte has broken his silence over the boat incident. He said that it was a “maritime incident.” He also mentioned waiting for the investigation to finish and hear the side of China.
