Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, leader of Kingdom of Jesus Christ, a Davao-based religious group, has been reportedly receiving death threats from members of another religious organization in Mindanao, which is the controversial Kapa Community Ministry International Inc. (Kapa).

Kapa members are blaming Pastor Quiboloy for the recent shutdown of their ministry. They are convinced that the pastor had a hand in President Rodrigo Duterte’s order to crackdown investment scams in the country.

The Davao Police Regional Office said they have monitored possible threats to the life of the pastor from online hate messages and social media posts of agitated Kapa members.

“Ngayon mo lasapin ang bangis ng mga taong galit dahil sa kagagawan mo sige gamitin mo ang powers mo, appointed son of god…”

“Balatan na ng buhay yang Quiboloy Aboloy na yan...”

KAMI learned that majority of the online threats hurled against Quiboloy were mostly from furious members of Kapa. They are now unable to get their monthly "blessing" or the 30 percent return of the money they donated to Kapa Ministry.

“This is all because of PACQ!!!”

“DAPAT c Quiboloy ipako yan s krus dba sabi nya xa ang dios ng sanlibutan.... IPAKO N YAN!”

“Kaya hindi ako naniniwala sa kulam kasi kung totoo ang kulam, matagal na nalusaw yan si quibolok”

In a statement, Quiboloy told the head of Kapa, “I have unverified reports. I don’t know if it’s true or not but I heard you want your critics dead and apparently, I’m the number one on your list!”

According to Police Major Jason Baria, these online death threats to Pastor Quiboloy have to be assessed and validated first by the Philippine National Police. “Once ma-validate natin yung threat, we’ll forward it to Police Security and Protection Group,” Baria said.

The infamous pastor, however, did not request for police protection yet, “well, I’m not afraid to die! Isa lang ang gustong magpapatay sa akin, si Satanas lang,” the pastor said in Visayan dialect.

In a previous report by KAMI, Pastor Quiboloy slammed Kapa leader Pastor Joel Apolinario over the alleged investment scam of his ministry.

He told Apolinario, “nagpa-rehistro ka bilang religious group, pero iba ang ginagawa mo at pinapanakip mo lang sa mga ginagawa mong raket at niloloko mo lang ang mga tao na religous group ito.”

Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy is the founder and leader of Kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Name, Inc. The “Kingdom” is suggested to have 6 million members from across the globe. He proclaimed himself as the Appointed Son of God and the Owner of the Universe.
