Many users around the globe were not able to access their Instagram accounts for about an hour.
KAMI learned that on Friday morning, the social media site received more than 38,000 reports about this.
In a report by CNet, some users may have encountered a message “couldn’t refresh feed” or “Sorry, something went wrong” when they opened their Instagram account.
On Twitter, Instagram addressed the issue and said that they were working on it. A few moments later, they announced that they were able to fix it and apologized for the “disruption.”
"We're aware that some people are having trouble accessing their Instagram accounts. We're working quickly to fix the issue," it said.
Instagram is owned by Facebook Inc. KAMI reported two months ago that Facebook experienced its most epic outage that lasted for about 14 hours.
It was the longest so far that the users were not able to access Facebook and its other platforms like Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger.
