Veteran actor John Arcilla aired a heartbreaking revelation about “Buboy,” the viral pet dog that died after getting hit-and-run by a car on Wednesday, June 12.
KAMI learned that the dog recently became trending on online after some pictures of him while waiting for his master, who already died, touched the hearts of many people.
John already expressed his sympathies over what happened and he also made an emotional appeal to all motorists and car drivers regarding the same accident.
The actor admitted that it broke his heart as an animal lover to know that “Buboy” already passed away and joined his master in heaven.
“This is deeply heartbreaking. I am sorry for an early emotional morning, but i really mourn for such a loving dog,” he wrote.
“We strongly urge all motorists to hit the #BrakeForAnimals. Run free #Buboy. Gone too soon. Every animal-loving Filipino mourns today,” he added.

Meanwhile, the “Ang Probinsyano” cast member was able to catch the attention of many people when he revealed that he planned to adopt the aforementioned dog.
He disclosed that his plan did not push through after he learned that the dog had an owner and people were still not allowed to visit him during that time.
“I was even planning to visit and adopt him- but some students in messenger told me after his master died, hindi daw muna pinalalabas si Buboy, bawal daw muna ang dalaw... they said Buboy has a real owner,” John exposed.
“Then I let go, and just planned to passby in their school some other time to give him some gift or treats instead, and then this... This is so Heartbreaking,” he concluded.
