- John Arcilla mourned for the death of the viral dog named “Buboy”
- He expressed his sympathies on several social media posts
- The actor also has a request regarding the death of the trending pet
Kapamilya actor John Arcilla took to social media his emotional appeal after learning that the viral dog named “Buboy” already passed away because of an accident.
KAMI learned that “Buboy,” the pet that became trending because of patiently waiting for his master who already died, was hit by a car on Wednesday, June 12.
The Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF) already released a statement about what happened and it cited that animals deserve “loving families and secured homes.”
However, for John, part of the blame must be put on the car drivers and motorists who seem to care less about the pets roaming around streets.
The “Ang Probinsyano” actor also expressed that the news about Buboy’s death really broke his heart since he is an animal-lover.
Because of this, the multi-awarded celebrity called on motorists and drivers to hit their brakes whenever they see dogs or other animals on the way.
“This is deeply heartbreaking. I am sorry for an early emotional morning, but I really mourn for such a loving dog,” he quipped.
“We strongly urge all motorists to hit the #BrakeForAnimals. Run free #Buboy. Gone too soon. Every animal-loving Filipino mourns today,” he added.
In a previous article by KAMI, a lot of netizens reacted to the death of the viral dog.
John Arcilla is an award-winning actor in the Philippines who played as General Antonio Luna in the critically-acclaimed biopic entitled “Heneral Luna.”
He is now one of the antagonists in the top-rating teleserye “Ang Probinsyano.”
