President Rodrigo Duterte recently stated that he lost interest at work and actually regretted running for president.

KAMI learned that the President made the remark during the oath-taking of the newly-elected officials of Cagayan de Oro.

"Nawad-an ko og ganang motrabaho. Actually, nagmahay gyud ko. Nagmahay ko nidagan ko og presidente," the President said, as reported by the ABS-CBN News.

(Translation: I lost interest at work. Actually, I regretted it. I regretted running for president.)

The President said that amid the corruption allegations that have been going on in the government. He also fired military officials due to alleged anomalous transactions in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

"Moingon mo karon nga happy ko, 'di ko mamakak. Nganong mamakak man ko? I don't have any obligation to you to tell a lie. I'm sick and tired of the system," the President said.

In a previous report by KAMI, the President vowed to cut the travel time between Cubao and Makati to just 5 minutes. Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson said that if the President would solve the traffic in Metro Manila and flight delays, he should be “president for life.”
