The world’s tallest skyscraper lit up on Wednesday night to celebrate the 121st Independence Day of the Philippines.
KAMI learned that Dubai’s Burj Khalifa lit up with the Philippine flag and Dubai Festival City had a Philippine-themed light and show.
In a report by the ABS-CBN News, the crowd of Filipinos cheered when the Burj Khalifa displayed the Philippine flag.
It was the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and the Northern Emirates who organized the event.
As reported by the GMA News, the Dubai Festival City had a laser show exhibiting Philippine cultures, colors, and Filipinos who gave pride to the country like Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao.

The Burj Khalifa or Burj Dubai is known as the tallest structure and building in the world with a total height of 2,722 ft and a roof height of 2,717 ft. The entire structure was built for about 5 years and it was officially opened in 2010.
