Nanette Medved is reflecting her role as the iconic Pinay superheroine Darna in real life by giving an unforgettable gift to the children of Marawi.
KAMI learned from ABS-CBN that the former actress donated eight classrooms to the city which has been heavily affected by the recently concluded war.
She recently uploaded on Instagram the good deed that she has done for the city. She captioned her post saying:
So happy to be able to turn over 8 classrooms here in Marawi today. Thank you to the Maranao for your heartwarming hospitality especially given the circumstances”.
Her donation was also supported by Generation Hope Inc., an organization which Nanette founded in 2014.

Nanette Medved used to be a famous actress in the Philippine showbiz scene. She is now married to Christopher Po. Nanette was also included in Forbes’ 2017 Heroes of Philanthropy list in the Asia-Pacific.
