Erwin Tulfo has been ordered by the PNP to surrender his guns after his license to own and possess firearms expired last March.
KAMI learned that Erwin has finally commented on the issue.
In his Facebook post, the journalist said that he found no malice in being ordered by the PNP to surrender his firearms.
“We find no malice on the part of PNP Chief Director-General Oscar Albayalde in his decision to strip us of our security detail and confiscation of my licensed firearms…
“I have received death threats, which I have learned to live with in my line of work, especially with the Tulfos’ public service work and brand of journalism, my bread and butter. With or without the PNP detail, we’re always a sitting target to big-time criminal syndicates,” Tulfo wrote.

Erwin Tulfo is a veteran journalist and broadcaster. His brothers are journalists as well. They are Ben, Ramon and Raffy Tulfo. He got into a controversy when he cursed at and threatened former general Rolando Bautista for not giving him an on-air interview.
