Vickie Rushton is the Miss Universe in her brother Kian’s life

Vickie Rushton is in the minds of many Filipinos today because of her viral performance at the recent 2019 Binibining Pilipinas beauty pageant.
Many viewers thought that she did well throughout the competition but that she somewhat failed during the question and answer portion.
KAMI believes that although Vickie did not win the Miss Universe Philippines crown, she is truly the Miss Universe for her loved ones, most especially for her brother Kian, who has Down Syndrome.
Based on her social media posts, the beauty queen has so much love and affection for her brother. The siblings love to spend time with each other and bond together.
While training for the pageant and being away from her brother, Vickie posted this message on Instagram:
“A friend sent me photos of you when she visited you today and it made me cry. I cried so hard and I am still crying while tuping this because I really, really miss you. Your eyes were sad and there are days like this that make me want to teleport and hug you
“It makes me feel a little bit weak everytime you call and tell me to go home I know you miss me, too. I feel it even if you dont say it. I know your ‘Vim, puli na’ means ‘I miss you.’ Everyday is a struggle because I also want to be with you EVERY SINGLE DAY.
“Soon, I’ll finish what I’ve been quietly working on. It is because of you, it is for you, and for our dreams together. Missing you everyday, Toto Kian,” Vickie wrote.

Vickie Rushton is a former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate. She was crowned Mutya ng Pilipinas 2011 and Binibining Pilipinas 2018 1st Runner Up. Her boyfriend is actor Jason Abalos.
