Golden State Warriors escaped defeat in Game 5 of the NBA Finals 2019 as they narrowly defeated the Toronto Raptors, 106-105, at the Scotiabank Arena.
KAMI learned that Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 31 points, followed by Klay Thompson with 26.
Their superstar teammate, Kevin Durant, returned to the series but got injured again in the 2nd quarter. He was able to score 11 points in his limited playing time.
As for the Raptors, Kahwi Leonard led the way with 26 points.

In a previous report by KAMI, the Raptors defeated the Warriors in Game 4 of their Finals series.
It is not yet known whether Durant will be able to play in the next game. The Raptors have a chance to win the championship in Game 6 of the series, which will be held at the Oracle Arena, the Warriors’ home court.
