Aiza apologizes to Robin Padilla for "hasty comment"

Singer and actress Aiza Seguerra sought forgiveness from fellow Duterte supporter Robin Padilla for her “hasty comment.”

During the May 9 elections, Robin Padilla, just like his nephew Daniel Padilla along with Teen Queen Kathryn Bernardo, has also received flak for supposedly posting his ballot on Instagram, which is against the law.

Netizens have flocked to the “Pilipinas Got Talent” judge’s Instagram account even after the post was 'deleted' to comment on his other photos about the same issue. He received countless bashing for not following the rules. It was surprising to see, however, that Aiza Seguerra, another one of his fellow Duterte supporter in the entertainment industry has joined in the melee.

Aiza Seguerra made comments on the celebrities who were seen ‘violating’ the rules of elections. One of those just happened to be Robin Padilla. She also posted about this but has since deleted it.

As of writing time, Aiza has apologized to the actor. She posted a photo on her Instagram account saying: “Nag-usap na kami ni Kuya Robin and I admit I made a hasty comment about him before checking the facts. He explained the issue to me and I realized I was wrong. Kuya Robin, thank you for accepting my apology. Padayon.” (Robin and I already talked it over and I admit I made a hasty comment about him before checking the facts. He explained the issue to me and I realized I was wrong. Brother Robin, thank you for accepting my apology. Moving forward.)

The singer-actress tagged Robin Padilla in the post and even captioned the photo with: “Hanggang sa susunod na pakikibaka.” (Until the next battle).

While Aiza Seguerra has sought forgiveness and understanding from Robin Padilla, it still remains unknown if she also did the same with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, whom she also criticized for allegedly violating election rules.
