Being a single mom is not easy, and with six children to raise alone, the difficulties may be insurmountable.

But such was not the case with Dina Nira Blanca Monid. She made sure that she will be able to surpass all challenges and give her kids a good education.

KAMI learned that Dina worked as a domestic helper in Dubai, UAE.

Opposed to many OFWs who would transfer from one employer to another, Dina has been with her employer for 8 years already.

She was widowed early because her husband died of diabetes, as per Expatreaders' post.

Supporting six children wasn't easy but with sheer determination, she endured all hardships.

A huge credit can be given to the kindhearted Lebanese employers of Dina who would often send balikbayan boxes to her family in the Philippines.

The content, as well as the shipment cost, are all handled by her employers.

Today, Dina has two children who graduated from college with a degree in Education.
