Golden State Warriors bounced back in Game 2 of the 2019 NBA Finals as they defeated the Toronto Raptors, 109-104, tying the series 1-1.
KAMI learned that Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry led the way for the Warriors, scoring 25 and 23 respectively.
The Western Conference champions were able to win the game despite Thompson suffering a hamstring injury in the fourth quarter, joining Kevin Durant in the injured list.
Game 2 was a thriller, as the Raptors were able to cut the lead to 2 points with 6 seconds left. However, the Warriors’ Andre Iguodala scored a three-pointer to make the lead 5 points.
DeMarcus Cousins also played a big part for the Warriors, delivering 11 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in his return to the starting lineup. Draymond Green almost had his fourth straight triple-double, scoring 17 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and dishing 9 assists.

For the Toronto team, Kawhi Leonard led the stats with 34 points and 14 rebounds.
Game 3 of the Finals will move to the Oracle Arena, Golden State’s home court. It is not yet known whether Durant will be able to play in the upcoming game. As for Thompson, he said that he will be able to play in Game 3.
As reported previously by KAMI, the Raptors defeated the Warriors in the Game 1 of their series.
