One of the country's top-rated comedians has died on May 31. Gary Lising, a premier comedian, was found by his only son, Bugsy, dead in his condo unit.
KAMI learned that Gary was not able to return the text messages sent to him. He also failed to answer calls.
Bugsy got anxious because of this that he then went to his father's condo unit.
According to a report by Pocholo Concepcion in Inquirer, a source has described the comedian as one who, "hasn't been well lately."
His brother, Pompeii Lising confirmed his death through a Facebook post.
"I am sad to inform some terrible news. We lost our beloved Gary Lising, my eldest brother, today. Gary, thank you for all the laughs and love, we will miss you deeply. But I know that your jokes will make God laugh. Rest In Peace my dear brother... "
In a 2013 interview with the deceased comedian, Gary suffered a heart attack in 2009.
Not only that, he also underwent an angioplasty in 2012, and it was more than once.
Gary was 77 when he died. Some of his popular shows included, "Hoy Lising" and "Champoy."
