'Idol PH' judge Moira dela Torre recently shared that she has a health condition which made it difficult for her to hold the auditions on the show.
KAMI learned from ABS-CBN that the 'Tagpuan' singer had nasal necrosis which she revealed during an interview on 'Tonight with Boy Abunda.'
She told the host:
I had an injury. It was on my face. My nose went on necrosis and so bulok siya from the inside out. It was a very tough time.
Moira also shared that this injury took away her confidence because she felt like everyone was looking at her nose. The singer said:
It took away my confidence in terms of kapag nagta-try akong magsalita, alam ko kung saan sila nakatingin -- nasa sugat ko.
However, this didn't stop her from doing what she does best.
I know that I am good and that I am smart and I have something to say. I am in the process of embracing that truth about me and trying to battle all my insecurities and say, ‘You know what, this is where God placed me.
