- Lani Mercado gets bashed because of her recent tweet
- She tweeted about Good Manner and Right Conduct (GMRC)
- Netizens were furious about it and most of them brought up the previous plunder case of her husband Bong Revilla
Lani Mercado recently tweeted and expressed her opinion about people who are being mean.
She also mentioned about Good Manner and Right Conduct (GMRC), which elicited hate comments from netizens.
"You don’t have to be mean just to get attention. People are more appreciated when they show respect and GMRC even in social media," she wrote.
Some netizens kept on mentioning about Bong Revilla's previous plunder case on their responses to Lani's tweet.
"WE ARE LOOKING FOR ACCOUNTABILITY, NOT ATTENTION"
"++ does GMRC mean — Grabe Magnakaw ang Revilla Clan ?????????"
"Please ask your husband to return the money. Please, ma’am? It will be most highly appreciated! And do remind him not to do it again? GMRC"
"Respectfully, will your husband please return the money the court ordered him to return? Thank you."
In a previous report by KAMI, Lani Mercado and Bong Revilla welcomed another grandchild.
Bong Revilla was detained for four years at the Philippine National Police Custodial Center in Camp Crame due to plunder charges. He was later declared not guilty of the charges. His wife, Lani Mercado, is the Mayor of Bacoor, Cavite.
