President Rodrigo Duterte talked about his health and his presidency during the oath-taking of newly-appointed government officials on Monday.
In a report by the GMA News (author Virgil Lopez), KAMI learned that the President felt a burden as if all the disease has be thrown at him.
“Tatanda na natin...lahat na ng sakit na ano tinatapon na sa akin. Colon, sa ano,” the President said.
“Tinanong ko ‘yung Diyos eh. Sabi ko, ‘God, ano ba itong presidency? Patagalan sa mundo o patrabaho tayo dito and by the time we become unproductive, we should go out of this universe?’” he added.
As previously reported by KAMI, President Duterte was late for two hours at the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) graduation rites. The Palace said that the President only had two hours of sleep and was struggling to stay awake.
President Duterte was not also able to personally hand the diplomas to the graduating cadets and delegated the task to Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana. However, the Palace said that the President is in good health.
