- The Palace wished Sen. Antonio Trillanes luck for he might be jailed again
- Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo said that the “Bikoy” controversy could turn against Trillanes
- The senator is set to end his term on June 30, 2019
The Palace said that Senator Antonio Trillanes IV could end up in jail once again after being linked to the anti-Duterte videos.
KAMI learned that Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo warned the outgoing senator who will be ending his term on June 30.
"While many will wish Mr. Trillanes good riddance as he is about to leave the hallowed halls of the Senate at the end of June of this year, we will instead wish him luck as he faces another prospect of being placed behind bars again as the self-confessed black propagandist turns against his master," Panelo said.
Earlier, Trillanes was mentioned by Peter Joemel Advincula alias “Bikoy” as one of those behind the alleged black propaganda “Ang Totoong Narco-list” videos.
Advincula said that aside from Trillanes, opposition members like Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Risa Hontiveros were involved in the videos, and that they were planning to oust President Duterte.
As previously reported by KAMI, Advincula said that all his claims in the anti-Duterte videos were false and fake. He denied the allegations that the First Family was involved in the drug trade.
