Netizens react after Alex Gonzaga slammed a basher's misspelled word

Kapamilya star Alex Gonzaga has been subject to criticism from the online community following her previous issue with Parañaque mayor Edwin Olivarez.

It can be recalled that a netizen recently bashed Alex on her social media account, “Cancelledt kana ate girl HAHAHAHHA. better watch what comes out of your mouth kasi, yan tuloy talo din daddy mo sa election. LMAO.”

The vlogger-actress then responded by correcting the netizen’s spelling of the word ‘cancelled’, "@youtubepromotionchannels cancelled walang T."

KAMI then learned that her response was heavily criticized by netizens online.

Netizens pointed out that the term 'cancelledt' is a slang or term used by millennials nowadays. Some even commented that Alex, as a social media influencer, should know the term due to its popularity.

“Guys it’s not typo. It’s a millenial thing. They add T to words that ends in D because they said that’s how Black people pronounced it. Typo or not. Alex is really immature and corny.”

As reported earlier by KAMI, Alex Gonzaga previously created headlines because of her "may pagkamadugas" comment about Parañaque mayor Edwin Olivarez. She personally went to Paranaque City Hall to reach out to the city mayor. Some netizens reacted to Alex's kind gesture.

Catherine "Cathy" Cruz Gonzaga, most commonly known as Alex Gonzaga, is the younger sister of Toni Gonzaga. Alex is currently dating businessman, Mikee Morada. The couple became open about their relationship last January 2017.
