BLACKPINK's member, Jennie, experienced a slight malfunction during their concert in London.
Based on a report that KAMI found on the entertainment website, Koreaboo, the singer got stuck underneath the stage when the lift which was supposed to bring her up did not work.
This caused a delay in her performance when she was about to do a special number of her debut song, "Solo."
She managed to apologize to all her fans once she was able to climb onto the stage.
According to Jennie, she just used the stairs when she realized that she won't able to get on the stage using the lift. The singer stated during the concert:
Sorry about the [malfunction] with the lift and the little pause that we had. I was stuck under the lift, I was like “I need to come up!” I managed to use the stairs.
After explaining the situation to the BLINKS, the show went on, as usual, for Jennie.
In a previous report by KAMI, BLACKPINK's Jennie revealed a never-before-seen footage of her debut song "Solo" in order to celebrate it reaching 300 million views on YouTube.
YG Entertainment first announced that Jennie will be making her first solo debut on October 2018. Blackpink was first introduced to the public in 2016 and performed numerous hit songs such as “BOOMBAYAH” and “DDU-DU DDU-DU.”
