However, if you take a few extra steps to care for eyes in order to prevent future damage, using your computer the entire day could have minimal effects on causing eye strain.

1. Clean the screen of your computer

Reducing the glare on your computer screen could lessen the risk of eye damage. Seeing clearly what's on the screen will help reduce the strain on both your eyes.

Be aware of how often you blink. As we tend to focus on the monitor, we sometimes don't notice that we're forgetting to blink our eyes. Blinking is important as it keeps your eyes from drying up.
