Actor-turned-politician Herbert Bautista revealed his plans after serving as a government official in Quezon City for almost 33 years.
KAMI learned from GMA News (author Aaron Brennt Eusebio) that Herbert is hoping for a comeback in the showbiz industry.
"I hope magkaroon ako ng trabaho sa entertainment industry because doon kami lumaki e," Herbert said.
“Hopefully after my term, may mga projects na pumasok na babagay sa akin,” he added.
The outgoing mayor of Quezon City also said that he is open to hosting or having participation in GMA’s Wowowin with Willie Revillame.
“Hosting sa TV, pwede rin. Pwede akong maging alalay ni Wowowin,” Herbert said.
Other than that, he is also planning to pursue his doctorate degree in Public Administration.
"Kasi gusto mo rin mag-artista at the same time, baka merong pag-a-artista once or twice a week tapos kukuha ka ng mga ilang subjects na once or twice a week din, that's okay,” he continued.

Herbert served as a councilor in Quezon City for 9 years, then 15 years as a vice mayor, and 9 years as the city’s mayor.
He also joined the Armed Forces of the Philippines as a Reserve Command. He was also designated as the Brigade Sergeant Major of the Light Armor Brigade.
