Liberal Party chairman and Vice President Leni Robredo faced the media to answer the allegations of Peter Joemel Advincula alias “Bikoy.”

KAMI learned from ABS-CBN News that other members of the opposition like Senators Antonio Trillanes IV and Risa Hontiveros also commented about the controversy.

VP Robredo denied the allegations of Bikoy that she was part of the “Ang Totoong Narco-list” videos, along with other opposition members. Robredo said that Bikoy is not credible and that she never met with him.

“Nakakapagduda na sinabi noon na hindi mapagkakatiwalaan si Advincula, pero ngayong oposisyon na ang tinitira, credible na,” Robredo said.

The Vice President said that she is willing to join any forum and cooperate in any investigation to prove her innocence.

One of the accused, Sen. Trillanes, also denied the speculations. Trillanes said that he will be consulting his lawyers to file charges against Bikoy.

Another opposition member, Senator Hontiveros, also commented about the controversy that the purpose of the “Ang Totoong Narco-list” videos was to oust President Rodrigo Duterte. She also questioned the credibility of Bikoy.

“This is fanciful and another attempt by this administration to distract the public. Just like the President’s matrices, it is another product of Malacanang’s wild imagination,” Hontiveros said.

As previously reported by KAMI, Bikoy surrendered to the Philippine National Police (PNP). He claimed that the Liberal Party was behind the anti-Duterte videos that were allegedly made to oust President Duterte so that VP Robredo would replace him.
