According to Senator Ralph Recto, Senator Manny Pacquiao hosted a dinner on Saturday to meet with the candidates who are poised to become senators.
KAMI learned that Senate President Tito Sotto and Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri were also present in the dinner to meet with “incoming senators” Bong Go, Bato dela Rosa, Francis Tolentino, reelectionist Koko Pimentel, and former Senator Bong Revilla.
“1st dinner meeting with incoming senators, hosted by Senator Manny Pacquiao,” Recto wrote.
Pimentel also showed on Facebook that they met with Energy Secretary and PDP-Laban Vice Chairman Secretary Alfonso Cusi.
Based on the partial and unofficial results of the Comelec Transparency Server, Go, Dela Rosa, Revilla, Pimentel, and Tolentino made it in the “Magic 12.”
As previously reported by KAMI, Pacquiao said that he is willing to share his knowledge and teach the new senators about the things they do in the Senate. Pacquiao said this in response to Dela Rosa’s remark, asking if there are seminars or training for the new senators.
