Lea Salonga recently shared her world class talent in a sold out concert held in Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts in Arizona, USA.
The singer wanted her audience to enjoy what they paid for. Based on the report of Gorgy Rula of Pilipino Star Ngayon, a source revealed that Lea heard a cellphone ringing in the middle of her performance.
Based on her previous tweet, she said cellphone ringing inside the theater with the artists performing is an insult to the performers.
She also warned her audience to turn their phones off or set it in a silent mode so as not to distract the show.
Lea stopped momentarily and said, "I heard a phone ringing over there and I will stop and ask you to answer because it could be emergency. Emergency happens and just go ahead and answer it. I’ll wait, that could be an emergency."
With eyebrows raised, the singer remained composed and went on with the show.
Lea Salonga is a singer, actress, endorser, performer and a recording artist. She was known worldwide because of her iconic role in the musical Miss Saigon where she played as Kim when she was just 18 years old.
