Ogie Diaz bravely expressed his thoughts about the recent statement of Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa that he wants to participate in seminars about lawmaking.

KAMI learned that the former Police General is poised to take a Senate seat as shown in the partial and official tally of the Commission on Elections (Comelec).

Although he is still not proclaimed as one of the new Senators of the country, Bato already exposed to public that he is willing to undergo seminars about the works in the Senate.

He also stated that he will seek for the help of Senators Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel and JV Ejercito so that he will be acquainted with the real duties of a lawmaker.

"Ewan ko kung meron bang seminar diyan or ano bang training diyan para matutuhan ko kung paano gawin yung batas, kung paano gawin 'yung trabaho sa Senado,” he quipped through CNN Philippines.

“Kung merong ganon, I'll take that opportunity para matuto ako," he added.

The celebrity stressed that people should stop bashing the incoming Senator for he is only being honest and not pretentious about his capabilities.

He also emphasized that the victory of Bato must be respected by other individuals and that it is just right to give him a chance to prove himself.

In a previous article by KAMI, Ogie aired his honest and serious thoughts about celebrities endorsing politicians.
