- Senator Manny Pacquiao volunteers to help the incoming senators
- He also defended Bato dela Rosa from his critics
- Pacquiao urged the losing bets to accept their defeat
Boxer-turned-politician Senator Manny Pacquiao said that he is pretty much willing to share his knowledge with the incoming senators.
KAMI learned that Pacquiao also defended former PNP chief Bato dela Rosa from his critics.
Pacquiao’s statement was a response to Dela Rosa’s remark, asking if there are any seminars or training for the new senators.
In a report by GMA News (author Amita Legaspi), Pacquiao urged the losing candidates and supporters to accept their defeat.
Kapag talo ka dapat tanggapin mo,” he said.
As shown in the partial and unofficial results of the Senatorial race, most of the winning candidates are endorsed by the Duterte administration and no opposition candidate made it in the top 12 so far.
As previously reported by KAMI, Dela Rosa was asked about the first thing he would do if he officially becomes a senator. Dela Rosa said that he wanted to attend seminars or training for the process of lawmaking and to know more about the job of a senator.
