Former Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa shared on social media that he received from different presidents like Rodrigo Duterte, Noynoy Aquino, and even Indonesian President Joko Widodo.
In a report by the GMA News (author Joseph Tristan Roxas), KAMI learned that Dela Rosa also vowed to work hard in the Senate.
“Hindi lang po si Presidente Duterte ang nag award sa akin! Pati po si Presidente Noynoy Aquino binigyan din po ako ng award!” Dela Rosa said.
“I have been working hard. Naka ilang presidente na po! Pati Presidente ng Indonesia binigyan din ako ng award!” he added.
In 2018, Widodo gave Dela Rosa the Bintang Bhayangkara Utama, or Medal of Honor, from the Indonesian National Police.
As previously reported by KAMI, Dela Rosa said that he is open to attending seminars and training to know the process of lawmaking and the responsibilities of a senator.
As of 12:04 p.m. today, Dela Rosa landed at the 5th spot in the Senatorial race, based on the partial and unofficial results of the Comelec Transparency Server.
