Fact check: Did Bong Revilla steal the marker after voting?

A photo went viral on social media after claiming that former Senator Bong Revilla Jr. who was put on trial for kickbacking millions, years ago in the alleged “pork barrel scam”, stole the marker he used after voting on Monday.
However, KAMI learned that this claim is false.
A Facebook post said in its caption: “UPDATE GUYS! NAPUSLIT PA DIN YUNG MARKER! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA”
The post gained almost 40,000 engagements and 45,000 shares.

But when French news agency Agence France-Presse conducted a reverse image search, they discovered that the original photo was posted by Rex Remitio on Facebook, and Revilla was not holding a marker, he was just showing his inked finger.
Revilla was detained after he was involved in the “pork barrel” scam for allegedly kickbacking P224.5 million worth of his Priority Development Assistance Fund. However, KAMI reported before that the Sandiganbayan court found him “not guilty.”
The former senator also sought for a comeback in the Senate. He ran under the political party Lakas Christian Muslim Democrats, and he is currently at the 10th spot with 14,429,716 as of 12:04 p.m. on Thursday.
