Dennis Padilla did not deny that he is affected by the controversial rift involving his ex-wife, who is Marjorie Barretto with her sisters, Claudine and Gretchen.
As reported by Philippines' Ultimate Showbiz Hub (PUSH), authored by Kiko Escuadro, the veteran actor said that he hopes that the children would not get swayed by their misunderstandings.
“Actually naaawa din ako. Gusto ko sana na kahit na may tampuhan ang mga nakatatanda, sana ‘wag madamay ang mga magpipinsan ba,” he stated.
He also added his own experiences with his children and how he taught them to love one another.
“Yun kasi lagi kong sinasabi sa mga anak ko noong maliliit pa sila na number one, na ayaw ko makirinig ng mention ng half-brother, half-sister, kasi I consider all of them as a whole. And I always tell them na one day, we will die and kayo lang ang magkakapatid."
"And I always mention na kapag mayroon kayong kapatid na gipit, huwag niyong antayin na humingi ng tulong, kayo ang pumunta at lumapit."
Dennis Esteban Dominguez Baldivia also known as Dennis Padilla is the father of the famous Kapamilya actress, who is Julia Barretto.
He is one of those actors who also ventured politics. He is a former councilor in Caloocan City.
