Kapuso TV host and comedian Vic Sotto shared that selling “biko” was temporarily banned in Pasig City. KAMI learned that this had something to do with his son, Vico Sotto, the new mayor of Pasig.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Vic cracked a joke that vendors can resume selling “biko” again once Vico seats as the new mayor.
"Alam mo pinagbawal ang pagbenta ng biko? Ganoon ka-petty. Akala ko joke lang eh, hindi, totoo pala," Vic said.
"Sabi ko nga eh, 'Pag-upo ni Vico, makakain na ulit ng biko, puwede na ulit magbenta ng biko sa Pasig,'" he added.
As previously reported by KAMI, Vic shared that it has not sunk in him yet that he has now a son who is a mayor. He also mentioned how proud he is of Vico and admired his determination and eagerness to serve the Filipinos.
KAMI also reported before that Vico had put an end to the three-decade-reign of the Eusebios in Pasig. Bobby Eusebio also said that he is not accepting his defeat.
