One celebrity even described the midterm elections as "nakakaiyak," feeling the frustration over it all.
In a tweet, actor and model Adrian Alandy asked whether the "nakaw" of Revilla and Marcos were still lacking that they were still elected to the Senate.
"Bong Revilla?? Imee Marcos?? Kulang pa ba ang mga ninakaw nila sa bansa natin para iboto natin sila sa Senado?!"
The singer said she didn't expect to win but highlighted her act of defiance of shading the oppositionist slate.
"I didn’t expect us to win, in all honesty.
