- She even edged out Nancy Binay, whose bailiwick is the said City

Reelectionist Senator Cynthia Villar received an overwhelming number of votes from the residents of Makati as she becomes their top senatorial candidate as of 9:10 p.m. today.
KAMI learned that the Board of Canvassers in the said City released an unofficial tally of votes and it showed who among the Senatorial candidates are dominating the polls.
Cynthia was able to get 196,883 votes from Makati while Nancy, who was said to be a tough candidate to beat in her bailiwick, got 194,977 votes.
Independent candidate Grace Poe also performed well in the said place, as she already accumulated 176,286 votes.
Meanwhile, Pia Cayetano and Sonny Angara booked slots in Makati’s Top 5 as of the moment, getting 157,213 and 156,636 votes, respectively.
The complete tally of votes is yet to be disclosed.

Cynthia Villar is a Filipina politician who is also the wife of former Senator Manny Villar. She is currently leading the Senatorial race, as per the partial results released by the transparency server of the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
