Partial unofficial results for Manila mayoralty race shows Isko Moreno leading

Manila mayoralty candidate Isko Moreno is leading the race based on an unofficial partial results released by PPCRV.

KAMI learned that out of the three candidates, Isko has gotten off with a good start.

Next to him is reelectionist Joseph Estrada, and former mayor Alfredo Lim came in third.

According to Inquirer, Moreno initially got 485 votes, Estrada's was 397 and Lim's was 157.

This number was provided by PPCRV at around 7:01 p.m. May 13.

Isko Moreno was an actor who chose to become a politician and serve the constituents of Manila.

He was a former Vice Mayor of the said city, and for the current elections, he was able to secure the support of Iglesia ni Cristo and the El Shaddai.

Isko Moreno epitomizes a person who rose from the ranks. He came from a poor family, with his father being a stevedore at the Manila Harbor, while his mom was a housewife.

At a young age, he learned how to survive and do simple trades. He would even rummage through restaurant bins, gather leftover food and his mother would simply recook them .

Fortunately, a talent scout discovered him and he joined showbiz from then on. He was part of That's Entertainment.
