Around 120 ballots, supposedly for a village in Bohol province, were mistakenly transported to Cordova town in Cebu.

KAMI learned that the said election materials were to be used by residents of Barangay Toril, Albuquerque in Bohol but they were sent to the wrong place.

In a report published by Inquirer.net (Nestle L. Semilla), the voters in the aforementioned barangay were able to use 7 ballots already before the electoral board noticed the problem.

Meanwhile in Cordova where the wrong supplies were sent, the vote counting machine failed to accept 7 ballots, as revealed by Veronico Petalcorin, an officer of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) Central Visayas.

To avoid encountering more problems with regards to the mix-up, the electoral boards in the said town in Cebu are already checking if there are other ballots that were mistakenly sent to them.
