On Election Day, Korina Sanchez expressed on social media her admiration for her husband Mar Roxas.

KAMI learned that Korina praised Mar for the way he faced his enemies and for helping the poor.

Mar is one of the senatorial candidates in this election.

“Honey, bilib ako sayo tiniis mo lahat ng demonyo sa paligid mo; am in awe at what you’ve accomplished and contributed to the poor and to this country, ang dami; am very proud of you that you carried on and did the work without making a centavo for yourself; am so excited you may get this chance to serve again. I love you. Happy Birthday,” Korina wrote.
