Senatorial candidate Neri Colmenares bravely denied the rumors that he got disqualified from running for senator, which has been circulating on social media and some text messages.
"Hindi po totoo ang pinapakalat na balita na disqualified tayo at ang mga progresibong partylist ng Makabayan. Tuloy lang sa pagboto," he tweeted.
Along with it is a video where he also called out the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to take action.
"Sana sa COMELEC, umaksyon na po kayo. Hindi po dapat patuloy ang ganitong harrassment kahit sa araw ng eleksyon."
Colmenares also reminded the campaigners and voters to be wise in voting, and be aware of the frauds and deceits that have been allegedly happening during elections.
"Sa lahat naman ng mga supporters and campaigners, maliban sa pagboto, sana po bantayan natin ang boto natin."
