Jennica Garcia received a lot of negative comments after she posted an endorsement of a formula milk on her Instagram. Some of the moms who follow her on Instagram were shocked of her decision to endorse something which some of them find contradicting to her breastfeeding advocacy.
This urged her to address the comments of some of her followers. She still believes that breastmilk is best but formula milk is not as evil as other moms see it.
She revealed that she had encountered moms who were molested and were not comfortable breastfeeding their babies as the act reminded them of their experience.
Jennica also urged mommies who bottle feed their child to feel confident with their choice.
"Ngayon kasi pag ang Nanay tinanong, 'Breastfeeding ka ba?' Pag sumagot sila ng hindi. Nahihiya sabay may mahabang explanation kung bakit, kung gaano nila sinubukan. Kesyo they did not try enough and so on," she added.
Jennica Garcia is married to Alwyn Uytingco whom she has two daughters with named Mori and Alessi. Aside from being breastfeeding advocate Jennica also advocates natural birth.
