- Jolina Magdangal shared the concept behind their famous family restaurant
- The 50’s and 60’s-themed resto is the fruit of their family’s hard work
- It is also a successful venture because of the undying family support and teamwork
Kapamilya actress Jolina Magdangal merrily recalled how her family’s vintage restaurant started and blossomed to be a well-visited venture in the present.
KAMI learned that the confession was made in the entertainment morning talk show entitled “Magandang Buhay” where she served as one of the hosts.
The topic was brought up when Karla Estrada suddenly got intrigued by the name of the restaurant, which is “Memory Lane.”
She also inquired about what motivated the Magdangal family to build a ‘50s and 60s’-inspired homey Restaurant and Specialty Gift Shop in Tagaytay City.
“There was a time na may album si Jolina na ang title ay ‘Memory Lane,’ puro mga old songs, mga 1950s and 1960s,” Jun Magdangal, Jolina’s father, happily shared.
He also revealed that due to Tagaytay’s cool weather, the ‘50s and ‘60s vibe is a perfect fit for a restaurant in the location.
In another episode featuring the same restaurant, the Magdangal Family has truly proven that they are capable of working together for their business venture.
Jolina’s parents, Paulette and Jun Magdangal, admitted that despite their children’s hectic schedules and responsibilities, they always take part on supporting each other in their business.
“Ang napulot ko talaga, sa buhay natin, ka-dikit na natin ang pagsubok. Basta ang huwag nating kakalimutan [ay] mahalin natin ang family natin dahil tayo-tayo rin lang naman ang magtutulungan,” Jolina quipped.

In a previous article by KAMI, Jolina got emotional as she gave her driver an all-expense-paid trip to Cebu City.
