Ogie Diaz opened up on social media about the celebrities who campaign for politicians and appear on political ads during election seasons.

According to the popular entertainment reporter / talent manager, celebrities who endorse politicians and join them throughout their campaign are probably getting paid for their services. However, those who appear only a couple of times in campaigns probably did it for free and as a favor.

At kalakaran na yon,” he wrote.

He also opened up about celebrities who appear on political ads. Ogie said that there are those who did it for a fee and those who did it because they believe in the politician.

“Well, depende yan.

Pero at the end of the day, mas masarap mag-endorso ng kandidatong gusto mo na, kumita ka pa,” he explained…

As for Liza Soberano, whose career Ogie manages, he said that they might be more open to it in the future.

“Dami nag-aalok. Laki pa ng offer. Pero siguro, hindi pa sa ngayon. Baka someday or sa next election,” he revealed.
