The La Trinidad Municipal Trial Court released the warrant of arrest issued against Peter Joemel Advincula or “Bikoy" dated in 2007. KAMI learned that the previous case of Bikoy had a connection with estafa.
In a report by the UNTV, the arrest warrant was issued on September 26, 2007. Bikoy also had different aliases like Richard Benedict Santos, John Rafael Benedict Santos, and RB Santos. Bikoy was allowed to post P6,000 bail that time.
The authorities said that Bikoy’s victims were not just normal citizens. He also offered to give information to the authorities in exchange of P50,000 to P80,000.
As reported by ABS-CBN News (author Michelle Soriano), the Baguio City Police Office received an alias warrant against Advincula and three other people.
The said warrant was issued on January 18, 2013, by Judge Leody Opolinto against Bikoy due to estafa and illegal recruitment.
As previously reported by KAMI, Bikoy was the man behind the “Ang Totoong Narco List” videos that linked President Rodrigo Duterte’s family and his close allies to the drug trade. Bikoy revealed his identity at the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) to ask for free legal assistance.
KAMI also reported before that the IBP turned down the request of Bikoy and said that their institute should not be involved in any political agenda.
