On Wednesday night, heavy rain poured in many parts of Metro Manila. KAMI learned that many Filipinos, most especially commuters, were stranded because of the rain and flood.
Philippine Star shared photos and clips of the stranded commuters. Some even carried their loved ones to pass through the flood in UN Avenue, Manila.
Meanwhile, in Recto, Manila, the commuters were also stranded because of the flood.
A photo of an ice cream vendor pushing his cart amidst the flood went viral on social media.
Philippine Star also shared a clip where cars were floating because of the flood in Quezon City.
A netizen shared on Facebook the flood along España Boulevard while inside the bus.
State weather bureau PAGASA shared on Twitter that heavy rain shower with lightning and strong winds are likely to happen over Metro Manila, Zambales, Bulacan, Laguna, Nueva Ecija, and Rizal on Thursday afternoon.
As previously reported by KAMI, PAGASA was monitoring two low-pressure areas. However, the other one is not expected to become a tropical cyclone.
