Actress Aiko Melendez has formally filed a criminal case against Zambales Vice Governor Angel Magsaysay-Cheng.
KAMI learned that Aiko filed libel against the said vice governor. According to the actress' Facebook post, there was a white van which was going around Zambales, bearing her picture with malicious imputations on illegal substances.
Aiko also expressed how her name was besmirched, however, when she was accused of being involved in illegal substances, she could no longer bear it.
She also said that she's now defending her name, which she has been taking care of for a long time.
"I filed a libel case against Angel Magsaysay - Cheng. Wala ka na awa basta nalang makasira ka ng tao kht wala ka ebidensya, Basta makasakit ka nalang ng kapwa mo. Para paikutin mo sa zambales ang puting van na me picture ko na sangkot ako sa droga, ang nagtulak sa akin para ipaglaban ang karapatan ko bilang tao," said the 43-year-old actress.
The actress also attached her latest drug test result when she filed the complaint with the help of her lawyer, Atty. Bonito Alentajan.
