-Meanwhile, UST and DLSU will have a match in a playoff for the semifinals privilege on Wednesday
As a gesture of goodwill and appreciation, Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws received a free merienda from the University of Sto. Tomas' Golden Tigresses.
In a tweet, Lady Tamaraws and Tigresses were all smiles showing the one bilao of pancit.
This happened after last Sunday's game where FEU defeated the three-time-champion De La Salle University.
Though that game may have been no-bearing because FEU is already locked at no. 4 spot in the UAAP Season 81 women’s volleyball tournament, according to a report of ABS-CBN Sports.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Tigresses assistant coach Yani Fernandez said that it was just a "thank you" gift.
"Yes yung pancit lang," Fernandez confirmed in a message to ABS-CBN Sports. "Wala lang, pang-congrats and thank you lang."
Meanwhile, UST secured the last twice-to-beat advantage in the Final Four after defeating DLSU in a playoff this Wednesday.
