- Sen. Cynthia Villar and Sen. Grace Poe remained at the top spots
- The candidates of HNP and PDP-Laban dominated the recent survey
The Pulse Asia has recently released the senatorial survey results two weeks before the mid-term polls in May. KAMI learned that reelectionists Sen. Cynthia Villar and Sen. Grace Poe topped the survey.
In a report by the ABS-CBN News, 1,800 adults participated in the survey that was conducted from April 10 to 14.
The candidates of Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte’s regional party Hugpong ng Pagbabagp (HNP) and President Rodrigo Duterte’s party Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) dominated the recent survey.
Otso Diretso’s Mar Roxas was out from the result, while reelectionist Sen. Bam Aquino made it to the top 16 candidates that could be part of the “Magic 12.”
As previously reported by KAMI, the candidates of Otso Diretso remained hopeful despite their low survey ranking. They said that they would do better in the remaining campaign days.
